The body produces oil to
keep the skin healthy, but too much of it can leave your face looking so oily,
lead to acne flare-ups and blemishes. There are a lot of ways to tone down this
oiliness. You can seek the help of a dermatologist to get the right products
for your oily skin or you may also buy some over-the-counter cleansers and
lotions.
Washing your face in the morning and at night is an effective way
to manage oily skin, but use a gentle cleanser and gently wash your face with
your hands. Do not use harsh soaps because they can trigger the skin to produce
more oil. This is also the same with using a buff puff or a wash cloth when
washing the face.
When looking for a facial cleanser that works, try one with
salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, beta-hydroxy acid, or glycolic acid. You’ll
