Anxiety disorders are of different types but did you know that anxiety is actually considered to be a normal human emotion because everyone experiences it? It only differs in the intensity and seriousness and that’s when we tag them to their appropriate names.
We experience anxiety when taking a test, when faced with a problem either at work or at home, and when making an important decision. The intensity of feeling nervous or anxious could interfere with our ability to live a normal life.
Although anxiety is considered normal, when it becomes overwhelming and constant it is then considered as a disorder and an anxiety disorder is a serious mental illness.
